What does each option do?

  • play - plays the lesson
  • notes - downloadable pdf with the slide images in one column and the transcript of what is said in the other column. There is also an option to get access to our entire OneNote notebook of all the lesson notes ...

OneNote is a free, and excellent, student note-taking app. We use it to build the courses and it is the source of all the pdfs that the notes links below come from. If you would prefer to link to our OneNote notebooks and then open in your own OneNote, you could get notes for all the lessons in that notebook all in one go. Here are the links you need ...

Notebook: Arithmetic K-8

Notebook: Algebra 1, 2, and Advanced Math Notebook

  • edit - This is meant for teachers and course developers. If you have Adobe Captivate, you can get our raw lesson files and customize them for your own students.
  • wbd - slide files for the Blackboard Collaborate classroom. This one is our lowest priority, but if we hear from many people that they need it, we can move it up on the schedule. Contact to let us know.
  • zip - Important: create a folder and add only one zip to it. Unzip it. The multiscreen file is the one you want to double-click to launch the lesson from your own computer or server. We update these frequently, so check back periodically for a refreshed copy of the zip and replace old files. Refreshed copies not only have any corrections needed but they also have new code to keep up with the rapid changes in devices, browsers, and HTML5.
